A Stunning One-Woman Play about Abby Kelley Foster

Born in 1811, Abby Kelley Foster was a radical abolitionist and women's rights activist in the 19th century. Despite women's expected roles to be quiet, submissive, and obedient, she spent 20 years going across the country to lecture about anti-slavery and women's rights. After her death in 1887, her family's farm in Worcester, a station on the Underground Railroad, has become Liberty Farm and a designated National Historic Landmark.

Actress Lynne Lydick portrays this amazing person, and students, educators, and communities agree that she does a stellar job.
