Come hear about King Philip's War and Ghost Stories!
The Friends of the Hopedale Library will be hosting a presentation by Edward Lodi, author and historian. He will speak about King Philip's War and the stories, curiosities, and ghosts during the late 17th century in Southeastern Massachusetts.
The program will be held on Wednesday, September 19th at 7:00 pm in the Reading Room of the library. Light refreshments will be served.

~Caused by much tension and anger between the English settlers and the Natives.
~The bloodiest and most costly war in North American history.
~The natives' traditional ways of life were changed or shattered.
~During the war, there were some Natives that sided with the English, whilst others remained neutral.
