2008 Park Dept. Fees for In-town, Hopedale Youth Leagues
Per-registration / per league-season
In effect through the 2010 season



LEAGUE USAGE FEE:                            Resident:  $ 8   Non-Resident: $12
Included: Park staff provides general playfield facility upkeep: weekly mowing, electricity and as-needed irrigation, Mellen Field porta-pot.
Not included: fees for tournament play (additional $50 fee per day / per tournament), approved league-specific capital improvements, police detail coverage, sports equipment.
 

INFIELD MAINTENANCE OPTION:         Resident:  $ 5   Non-Resident: $ 8
Included:  Park staff provides daily infield maintenance ( dragging, lining ]


TOURNAMENT FEE :                                              $50 pr/day






Non-profit, in-town youth sports leagues that charge a fee to participate in league activity conducted on playfields administered by the Park Department, contribute a portion of those fees back to the Town as compensation for exclusive field use and Town services provided. Fees are deposited into the Park Department’s recreational revolving account, and are utilized by the Park Department per guidelines in M.G.L. Ch44, Sec. 53D.
