Park Arts & Crafts/Playground Staff (one position available)

Work Location: Town Park Bandstand and grounds

Hours: 10 Weeks, mid June to mid August. Weekday mornings and afternoon
rotation.

Responsibilities: Work as part of a 3 person team to teach arts &
crafts, hand out games & sports equipment,  monitor playground and
grounds, help manage inventory, supervise field trips.  Reports to Summer
Director.

Requirements:  Successful candidate will enjoy working outdoors with
children, be a good team player, be open to rotating work hours, and enjoy
creating and teaching crafts. Previous experience working in an arts &
crafts or recreational program supervising youngsters a plus.
Certification in First aid and CPR also a plus.

Wage: $10 /hr

Assistant Tennis Instructors  (two positions available)

Work Location: Town Park tennis courts

Hours: Approx. 20 hrs pr/week, 8-10 Weeks, Weekday mornings and
afternoons, mid June to early  August. reports to Tennis Director.

Responsibilities:  Assist the Tennis Director overseeing and instructing
boys and girls on basic tennis fundmentals including tennis strokes,
footwork, court positioning, game strategy and etiquette.  Will also help
oversee and chaperone home & away exhibition matches and in-town
tournament play.

Requirements:  Successful candidate must enjoy working outdoors, possess a
good rapport working with children ranging from kindergarten to high
school age,  have experience playing varsity high school tennis, and be
open to possible rotating hours. Previous experience working or
instructing in a tennis or similar recreational program a plus.

Wage: $8 /hr
