We are traveling to Portugal for our next Cookbook Club meeting. Portuguese dishes blend the flavors of many cultures dating back centuries. Portuguese traders returned from their adventures with spices like ginger, saffron and paprika. From India came black pepper, cinnamon and curry powder. Tea first came to England by way of Portugal.
