To All Boards, Committees and registered voters,
The Board of Selectmen voted to open the May 19, 2020 annual Town Meeting warrant and voted to close the warrant at Noon on Friday, March 6, 2020.
Submission of warrant articles by Boards or Committees must be submitted in writing to Bob Reed, Interim Town Administrator, no later than Friday, March 6, 2020 at Noon.
Petition articles: At least 10 registered voters of the town must sign a written request. The written request of registered voters for the insertion of subjects in town meeting warrants shall not be valid unless the required number of registered voters not only sign their names but also state their residence, with street and number, if any. Voters do not have to include their addresses after their signatures, but it is a good idea.
If you want a sample of an article to use to draft your article, go to the Town Clerk’s office and ask for a copy of the annual report, or check the Town of Hopedale website – Town Clerk page https://www.hopedale-ma.gov/town-clerk.
