The Town of Hopedale is looking to fill a vacant seat on the Board of Assessors.  The Board of Assessors consists of three members, each serving a three-year term.  They are responsible for working with the Town’s Principal Assessor in carrying out the state’s requirements which establishes fair market value of real and personal property for tax purposes and many other assessing requirements.  Board members must complete the Department of Revenue’s Course 101 within one year of appointment.  The Board meets monthly except during summer months and Board members receive a small annual stipend.  Applicants must be a resident of Hopedale.
